Confessed Homosexual - On October 27, 2010, Jim Earl Swilley publicly confessed to his congregation that he is gay. “...I hope my coming out will change attitudes toward homosexuality.” and “I know a lot of straight people think it is a choice. It is not,” Swilley told Channel 2’s (WSB Atlanta) Diana Davis.

My question for Jim Earl Swilley is this: Do you have homosexual urges that you struggle with and suppress? or do you act upon those urges, engaging in sexual activity with someone other than your wife? If you are struggling with improper sexual desires, the Church can help you. If you have given in to those desires, you should immediately remove yourself from leadership and you should be banished from the Church until you repent and return to what is good and normal. - I suspect that because your church is a family run business, with you as the leader, there is no way that you would step down from that leadership and banish yourself from that church. What a disgrace to the Church if that is the case!
